Debates, Abortion Bans, and Our Homes
Remarkably restrictive anti-choice legislation has been enacted throughout the nation since January as a prod to the Court to review its 1973 Roe holding. These include near-total bans in Tennessee, Ohio, Alabama, and Kentucky.
In September’s debate ten presidential challengers must have the decency to address abortion rights. Not only would it be right to raise, and squarely, I am clear that unfettered women’s health choices are a winning set of issues.
Too, I hope you who see this will consider offering your home, should it come to it, as a station on the new Abortion Underground Railroad. My family commits to that.
